Bespoke lighting is exceptionally difficult to look after. We bring genuinely skilled hands to fragile, one-of-a-kind chandeliers that general electricians, chandelier cleaners or traditional chandelier technicians will not touch.
Standard knowledge is not enough for creative lighting, fine crystal, hand-blown glass or antique metal fixture.
The problem with precious light
Some mistakes cannot be undone.
A one-off chandelier rarely arrives with a manual, a box of spare parts or a maker still available to answer questions. Its fixings may be irregular. Its materials may be mixed. Its delicate joints, wires and suspensions can fail silently when someone handles them with the wrong pressure, tool or cleaning agent.
That is why a general clean or a routine electrical visit can become a serious risk. Hand-blown glass, Murano glass, fine crystal, antique metalwork, applied finishes and hand-painted or gilded surfaces each respond differently. A fitting can be scratched, loosened, marked or distorted before the damage is obvious.
This is the gap our bespoke chandelier care exists to solve: a measured assessment, gentle access and the judgement to know when to continue, when to adapt and when to stop rather than force a fitting.

Practical reassurance
The craft is delicate. The planning is exact.
The specialists are PASMA qualified to assemble scaffold towers and work safely at height. Where necessary, ceilings are structurally reinforced. Load testing is carried out at 50% above the chandelier’s weight to protect both the fitting and the ceiling structure.

Questions, answered
Before we touch the fitting.
Will you work on a chandelier the maker no longer supports?
Yes. We can assess one-off fittings even when the maker is no longer trading or no manual and spare parts are available. We document what we can see, identify what must be preserved and explain the safest next step before any work begins.
Can a fragile antique be cleaned on site?
Often, yes. On-site care can avoid an unnecessary journey for a delicate fitting. We consider its condition, access, materials and finish first, then use suitable cleaning agents and stop if handling would risk the piece.
What if a piece is already damaged?
Tell us before the visit and share photographs if possible. We record visible damage and loose or vulnerable elements, then separate safe cleaning or access work from anything that needs repair or specialist conservation.
Do you handle one-off commissions and custom-designed lighting?
Yes. We work with custom-designed lighting features, contemporary sculptural pieces, bespoke installations and commissions, as well as classic crystal cascades and historic fittings.
Can you match replacement components?
We can assess whether a replacement component can be sourced or made to sit appropriately with the existing fitting. Matching hand-blown glass, crystal, finishes and irregular fixings is case-specific, so we give clear advice rather than promise an interchangeable part.
