The installation brief

We install statement chandeliers in private homes, hotels, restaurants, heritage rooms and commercial interiors. The first conversation covers the fitting, its weight and dimensions, ceiling construction, electrical position, access height and the room’s finishes.
Standard knowledge is not enough for creative lighting, fine crystal, hand-blown glass or antique metal fixture. We combine specialist handling with a clear structural plan, so the work respects both the object and the architecture around it.
The working sequence

Site assessment
We review the chandelier, ceiling structure, fixing position, electrical connection, working height and route into the room before confirming the work.

Protect the room
We agree the working area, protect floors and furnishings, and plan how crystal, glass and finished metalwork will be handled during access.

Safe access
PASMA qualified specialists assemble and erect scaffold towers where needed, creating stable access for a controlled installation at height.

Mount and test
The support and fitting are installed with the appropriate care. Load testing is carried out at 50% above the chandelier’s weight, with ceiling reinforcement where necessary.

Finish and explain
We align the fitting, check the visible finish, remove protection and explain the practical aftercare needed for the room and materials.
Material knowledge
Every material changes the method.
Crystal and fine glass are protected from knocks, pressure and unnecessary handling throughout the lift and assembly.
Hand-blown and Murano glass need a slower, more considered approach to packing, positioning and final alignment.
Antique metalwork is treated as a finished surface with a history, not as a generic component to be polished aggressively.
Brass, chrome, nickel and gold finishes are kept clear of avoidable marking while the fixing and electrical work are completed.

How long does chandelier installation take?
The time depends on the fitting, access height, ceiling structure and whether it arrives assembled. We confirm a realistic schedule after reviewing photographs, dimensions and the room.
Will my ceiling need work?
It may. We assess the ceiling and fixing point first, then explain whether structural reinforcement or a different support arrangement is needed before installation.
Do you install very heavy or tall chandeliers?
Yes, tall and substantial fittings can be planned with suitable access. PASMA qualified specialists can assemble scaffold towers and work safely at height where required.
How much does chandelier installation cost?
There is no responsible one-size-fits-all price. The quotation reflects the fitting, access, ceiling, protection, assembly and testing requirements for the particular room.
Can you install a delicate or antique fitting?
Yes. We plan the handling around the materials and condition, including crystal, hand-blown glass, Murano glass and antique metalwork. Share images and any known history with your enquiry.
